Espresso Cup

Tim Lake is a potter based at The Old Post Office in Cilycwm, Carmarthenshire, in Wales. Inspired from East to West, Korea to Marshall, Karatsu to Vansgo. Tim creates pieces of work that have a subtle beauty that only clay can allow to happen. All work is stoneware and is thrown and turned on a slow turning kick wheel.

Fired to around 1280/1300°C with gas and wood in a reduction atmosphere each beaker is unique with a mixture of iron rich clay, cornish stone and dolomite glazed interior.
