Italian pastry specialist, Pasticceria Perbellini, was founded in 1891 by Giovanni Battista Perbellini and continues today as a family run business based in Verona, Italy.
Offella d'Oro is the original dessert of Perbellini dating back to 1891. Inspired by a traditional Veronese dessert called 'Nadalin' the recipe was modified by Giovanni Battista Perbellini, enriching the butter and eggs, resulting in much softer cake.
