Grey Coffee Mug

Hasami Porcelain represents the essence of traditional Japanese aesthetics blending tradition and modernity to create an innovative concept in tableware.  Each product is based on a modular system using fixed diameters so that items can be stacked and stored. The simple geometry allows multi-function in that all items can be used for eating, serving and storage. 

The specific stone/clay mix and traditional manufacturing process of Hasami porcelain is unique to this part of Japan and this skill and craftsmanship has been protected and passed down through the generations dating back to the Edo period (17th century).

Finished in a clear/grey glaze with unglazed base and rim, this coffee/tea mug can be stacked with other 8.5cm items from the range.
