Faceted beakers made in high-fired iron rich stoneware clay, with a satin matte Cornish stone and Dolomite glaze. Fired to around 1280/1300°C with gas and wood in a reduction atmosphere.

 


Tim Lake is a potter based at The Old Post Office in Cilycwm, Carmarthenshire, in Wales. Inspired from East to West, Korea to Marshall, Karatsu to Vansgo. Tim creates pieces of work that have a subtle beauty that only clay can allow to happen. All work is stoneware and is thrown and turned on a slow turning kick wheel.
