    Andrea Roman, founder of AR Ceramics, began making wheel-thrown tableware after relocating to London from her birthplace of Mexico City. Her work is characterised by the use of textured clay and the absence of glaze in large portions of the surfaces. Andrea is drawn to straight lines and simple forms to accentuate the quality of the clay body itself.
